Concealed Hinge Introduction

Hidden axis, effectively reduce door leaf gap

Unique design with internal axle to reduce swinging radius of the hinge effectively reduce gap between door and frame and allows full door clearance when opened. 

Single L-shaped metal plate on door leaf attaches and fastens to Li-shaped plate on axel. Thicknesses of the metal plates are made to order depending on the weight of the door leaf. 

The entrance way is fully extented to the width of frame, and will be opaque

Ball bearing design at the turning axle not only greatly reduces friction and force needed for opening/closing but also provides silent operation.

Balance Door 

The entrance doors located at the ground floor of Taipei 101 was supplied by Danterry Group which called Balance Doors. 

Danterry Group already helped many project contractors to overcome wind pressure issues by means of using Balance Doors to replace conventional hinge doors. Taipei 101 is one of successful projects among our job reference.

Balanced Door Series

Balanced doors are designed to overcome the effects of external wind or other internal air pressures applied to a swing door. And the location of the pivot points distributes door weight more evenly, placing less stress on frame and hardware. (increasing longevity of the door system). Balance door is better than normal door because  balance door  only use  two-thirds of a balanced door protrudes onto exterior sidewalk space. And floor cutouts are not necessary for closer/checking mechanism.Balanced doors can comply with ADA requirements and  accommodate all the basic reasons for power operating a door.
